FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
We are pleased to announce that Patent Continuation-in-Part 18/295,261 was filed by Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP https://www.procopio.com/ for Jim Ray on April 3, 2023 titled “APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR A HYDROPONICS SYSTEM WITH LIGHT CONTROL.” The U.S. Non-provisional Application No. 16/186,447 was filed on November 9, 2018 titled “APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR A HYDROPONICS SYSTEM WITH ENHANCED HEAT TRANSFER,” was authored by Brian Floyd, Ray’s roommate at Woodberry Forest School, and was approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on December 5, 2022. The second patent now includes independent claims on programming the colors across the lifetime of a cultivar with sensor feedback, and solar panels that track the sun for maximum efficiency.
The new independent claims for light control add to the already impressive semiconductor cooling technology that Ray has developed in the field of hydroponics. By programming the colors across the lifetime of a cultivar with sensor feedback, we are able to optimize the growth and health of the plants, leading to higher yields and more consistent results. Additionally, the integration of solar panels that track the azimuth of the sun for maximum efficiency ensures that the system operates at its highest capacity throughout the day.
The technology behind Ray’s hydroponic system allows for a more sustainable and efficient way to grow crops, with the potential to revolutionize the agriculture industry. By removing the need for soil and utilizing precise amounts of water and nutrients, hydroponics can produce more crops in less space, with less water, and without the use of harmful pesticides.
With the addition of the new independent claims, Ray is confident that the hydroponic system will lead the industry in innovation and sustainability. The continuation-in-part of the U.S. Non-provisional Application No. 16/186,447 is a testament to Ray’s dedication to improving the future of agriculture.
